Winter Healthy Tea

Side Dish

On this cold, snowy day, this Winter Healthy Tea has been my repeat elixir, offering a blend of warmth, comfort, and wellness in every sip.

Ingredients

1 green tea bag

A few sprigs of fresh thyme

A pinch of peeled and sliced ginger

1 lemon slice

1 cinnamon stick

1 cup of hot water

Directions

Place the green tea bag, thyme, ginger, lemon slice, and cinnamon stick into a mug or teapot.

Pour a cup of hot water (not boiling) over the ingredients. (I use my Keurig.)

Let the tea steep for 3 minutes to blend the flavors and retain the delicate properties of the green tea.

Remove the tea bag and stir gently. Strain if desired, or enjoy with the ingredients left in for added aroma and flavor.
