Wow, the name of this recipe is a mouthful, but it needed every last word in there to describe its deliciousness. Basting salmon planks with @traderjoes Sriracha & Roasted Garlic BBQ Sauce and tossing in to your smoker takes this salad literally…OVER THE TOP!
SALMON INGREDIENTS
4 Skinless Salmon Filets
1/2 Cup of Trader Joes Sriracha & Roasted Garlic BBQ Sauce
1 Cup Soaked Apple Chips
DRESSING INGREDIENTS
1/4 Cup Apple Cider Vinegar
1/4 Cup Olive Oil
1/4 Cup Sriracha & Roasted Garlic BBQ Sauce
1/2 Teaspoon Everything But the Bagel Seasoning
SALAD INGREDIENTS
1 Cup Fresh Baby Spinach
1 Filet of the Smoked Salmon
1 Tablespoon Crumbled Goat Cheese
1 Tablespoon Walnut Pieces
Drizzle of Homemade Dressing
Pre-heat your smoker to 200°F. Add soaked apple chips to your chip tray. Baste each salmon filet with Sriracha & Roasted Garlic BBQ Sauce. Add salmon to your smoker and smoke for 1 to 1.5 hours depending on desired doneness.
To assemble to salad, add a pile of baby spinach, roughly 1 cup per serving. Top spinach with one (1) smoked salmon plank. Crumble roughly 1 tablespoon of goat cheese over the salmon. Sprinkle over walnut pieces. Drizzle with dressing.
