Smokey Crockpot Chicken Tacos

Smokey Crockpot Chicken Tacos are super easy to make and perfect for dinner out on the boat or for any occasion really. All it takes is a crockpot, some raw chicken breasts, a few spices and voilà…feeding the troops is done!

Ingredients
  • 4-6 raw chicken breasts (skin off)
  • 1, 8 oz jar of any salsa you prefer
  • 1 package taco seasoning (I prefer La Tiara)
  • 1 small can (7 oz) Chipotles in Adobo Sauce (I add 4 peppers and all sauce from can)
  • 1 small can diced Hatch Green Chiles
  • Flour or Corn Tortillas
  • Mexican blend cheese or crumbled Queso Fresco
  • Lettuce
  • Lime wedges
Directions

Place chicken breasts in a crockpot with salsa, taco seasoning, chipotles & adobo sauce, and green chiles. Cook on low for 6-8 hours. When done, shred chicken mixture with two forks. Add small amount of chicken mixture to tortilla and garnish with any sides you prefer. Enjoy!
